Client Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms carefully. By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have understood and agreed to the following conditions.
1. Free Initial Consultation

A free 20-minute online consultation may be offered.

No therapy is provided during this consultation.

Any estimate of the number of sessions required is only a guideline and may change.
2. Booking and Payment
-
In-person sessions: A £70 non-refundable deposit is payable when booking. The remaining balance is due at least 48 hours before your session.

Online sessions: Payment must be made in full at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. If payment is not received, the session may be cancelled.

Payments can be made via credit/debit card or PayPal™.
3. Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an in-person session, and 24 hours’ notice for online sessions.

No refunds are issued for cancellations within these timeframes.

Session fees are for professional time and expertise, and therefore no refunds are offered after a session has taken place.

Discount packages/programmes: if discontinued early, a pro-rata refund will be issued (deducting the full standard fee for sessions already attended).
4. Session Attendance

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrival may reduce the session length.

Sessions will not be conducted if the client is under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs.
5. Age Restrictions
-
Clients must be at least 18 years old for online sessions.
-
Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for in-person sessions.
6. Recordings
-
Hypnotherapy recordings are for personal use only.
-
They must not be listened to while driving or operating machinery.
-
Recordings must not be shared, copied, or sold.
7. Medical and Psychological Conditions
-
RTT and hypnotherapy are complementary wellbeing approaches and are not substitutes for medical or psychological treatment.

Clients are encouraged to keep their GP or healthcare provider informed.
-
If you are receiving medical or mental health care, permission may be required from your healthcare professional before sessions begin.
-
Services are not provided for clients with epilepsy or psychosis.
8. Outcomes

No specific results can be guaranteed. Outcomes vary for each individual.

Commitment and participation by the client are essential for progress.
9. Confidentiality

All sessions, emails, and conversations are confidential.

Information may only be shared in the following circumstances:

With your written consent.
-
If required by law.
-
If there is risk of harm to yourself or others.

In professional supervision (using first name only).

10. Standards of Behaviour
-
Clients are expected to treat the therapist with respect.
-
Abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in termination of sessions without refund.
11. Liability

Sessions are offered in good faith, using best practice.
-
No liability is accepted for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or harm arising from participation.
12. Data Protection

Personal data is handled in line with the Privacy Policy.

By booking, you consent to the collection and safe storage of your information for professional purposes.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
14. Disclaimer

RTT and hypnotherapy are wellbeing approaches and not medical advice.
-
They do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions.
-
Always consult your GP or healthcare professional regarding medical or psychological concerns.
